Playing on a showcase team gave Evelynn the opportunity to display just how good she really is. There were moments when she needed to facilitate and create for teammates while at other times she stepped up as a scorer. That ability to adjust her role depending on what her team needs makes her a different player heading into the season

Evelynn showed her three-level scoring ability all Saturday afternoon and took what the defense gave her. Whether it was in transition or in the half court, she got to her spots comfortably and made plays from all areas of the floor. Along with her offensive production, she stayed active defensively and continued to impact the game on both ends for her team.

Evelynn showed she’s a scoring guard capable of carrying the load. Night after night, she did whatever was needed offensively, proving she can score from anywhere on the court. Her confidence and ability to put the ball in the basket made her one of the most dangerous new additions to the rankings.

Jaimes’ stellar performance against Thomas Jefferson propelled Northglenn into the next playoff round. She led the way with 21 points and 6 assists, sparking a dominant third quarter that broke the game open. Jaimes also tallied 4 steals and knocked down a three-pointer, capping a memorable night for the talented junior.

After flying under the radar the past couple of seasons Evelynn is making her presence known this year. She’s showcasing a wide range of offensive abilities while helping her team stack wins along the way. Her scoring has come within the rhythm of the game, making her impact even more valuable.

Quick, smart and tough are just a few words that can be used to describe Jaimes. When she gets her eyes on the basket, there isnt very much that is going to stop her. She has the handles to get past defenders in the open court and to get to the paint in traffic. Evelynn can also get buckets from pull-up jumpers in the mid-range and from 3pt, she is truly an offensive threat. On D, Jaimes has a great IQ to get in the passing lanes and get sneaky steals from behind. She can get down in a stance and stay with dribblers and close out to shooters, she is a lockdown defender. Jaimes has all the skills to make this an exciting exposure season.
