Finley had a dominating junior season and a lot of accolades to show for it. Not only was she named Third Team All-State she also was recognized as First Team All-District and nominated for a finalist for the NC Basketball Award for the top player in the state. She finished the season with an impressive double-double averaging 21 points and 13 rebounds. I look for her to continue to be in the hot topics as one of the best players in the state next year as a senior.

Another new addition to the Lady Attack program. Finley is a Power Forward that loves to dominate in the paint area. One of her biggest strengths is rebounding. She is a beast on the boards. She uses her body to pin defenders and get good position where she can drop step and score. Lewis has been working on her back to basket moves and face up moves. I look forward to seeing her growth and improvement.

has passed the 1000 point mile marker as well as coming down with 750 rebounds. Each time she gets the ball in her hands, she knows how to size up the defense and work with what they show her pulling up for her midrange jumper or going to battle attacking the basket. Her movements off the ball are always effective making her cuts and calling for the ball making sure she has a chance to get the ball through the hoop.

A true SF/PF who has a nice touch to be able to knock down midrange shots and stretch the floor by being able to hit three pointers. Finley also is strong enough to play in the paint area and make one on one moves on smaller defenders. A dominant force on the boards on both ends. Runs the floor well and competes at a high level.

cannot be denied on the block. She moves her opponents where she wants them to go backing them down underneath the basket so she has the open look at the basket making it off the backboard. She runs the floor well being ready for the pass on her way to some points in stride. She jumps in front of passing lanes grabbing steals to take the other direction.

Lewis is an awesome athlete. She runs the floor with full effort, she jumps well, and she has fantastic anticipation skills. When Lewis creates a steal on defense, she runs the floor to score. She can handle the basketball and get to the rim in limited dribbles. Lewis is a versatile player who continues to get better and better on the basketball court. On the glass, Lewis is outstanding. She is a physical player who uses her body well on the defensive glass. Lewis is a double-double machine who is ready to have a huge impact on the court in her sophomore season.

Finley Lewis was making some tough moves in the paint. She can score through contact making some old fashioned three point plays, and she was an asset on defense protecting the basket. She had some great box outs showing an important fundamental skill in order to grab rebounds for her team. She’d seal off opponents knowing how to put her hands up as a target for her teammates to hit with the pass.
