She can get the ball to her teammates, or she can hit the deep ball herself. She’s tough getting in the paint and finishing through contact. She even did a good job boxing out her opponents on defense getting the rebound.

Gabby White has a range of ball handles that she can use to get by her defenders. She uses hesitation moves almost as if making it seem like she doesn’t know what to do, but she knows exactly how to get around her opponent to find a way to score. She’s physical, too, not backing down from contact as she gets to the rim, and she’s aggressive on defense knowing how to protect the basket.

has a knack for attacking the basket and finishing through contact no matter who tries to stand in front of her. She sees the rim and does whatever it takes to get there using some shifty handles to get by her opponents, and she makes nice adjustments at the rim to score her points. Not only does she see the floor well offensively, but she uses this IQ on the defensive side of the ball being able to study her opponents and prevent them from getting to the hoop. She helped her school get to the state championship game this year and earned Most Outstanding Player accolades even in the defeat.

Gabby finished with the game’s only double double, pulling in 15 points with 11 rebounds. Awarded the East’s Most Outstanding Player, she did a little bit of everything for her team on Saturday that helped keep her team within striking distance. Gabby truly understands the game of basketball. She did a great job reading the defense and breaking down defenders off the dribble. She used her speed to draw defenders toward her while finding teammates for wide open shots. She knew when to push the tempo and when to slow it down and run the offense. She also moved well off the ball, catching a backdoor pass to get an easy layup. College coaches will want to get in early on Gabby as she projects to be a major contributor on the next level.

Gabby White was instrumental in the victory for the Hawks using her ball moves to attack the basket weaving in and out of her opponents along the way. She used her speed to push the ball up the court. She even got inside to grab defensive rebounds and push them right up the court going the other direction. She was doing it all for her team grabbing rebounds, scoring the ball, and making some nice dishes to her teammates.
