About Georgia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My goal is to do whatever my team needs me to do for us to be successful. My strengths are perimeter shooting, on ball defense and playing a team oriented style on both ends of the floor. I pride myself on being coachable and a great teammate.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

On the court I tend to be focused and really think through the game. I have grown a lot in my communication on the court after being on varsity last year as a sophomore. Off the court, I am probably described as fun and energetic.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I help with two things at the high school. First is our PBIS celebrations. I am part of a team that helps Mrs. Gervais do fun stuff during the school year. Also, one of my favorite things is I help with students with disabilities. I have become a "buddy" with an awesome student at our school. I love that.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I work hard in school and in sports. Like I mentioned earlier, I have really started to develop more a leader and communicator because I was on varsity soccer as a freshman and varsity basketball as a sophomore. Building relationships with my teammates is so important to me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was in 5th grade, I had a really weird cartilage tear in my knee. It is called articular cartilage. I was out of sports, really basketball and soccer for almost 15 months. It was the hardest thing I have ever gone through. But, I had coaches that kept me involved in different ways that helped a lot.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am really open anything. I just want to be a part of a program and team that gets along with each other and builds lasting relationships. School is really important to me, too. I have a 3.94 GPA
