Georgia can no doubt can be the stretch four role or big guard at the next level with her ability to shoot the three point shot! She can consistently score well in close quarters, with her size and skill to finish effectively against defenders.

She scores on all three levels, and her mix of size, skill, and athleticism makes her a difficult matchup. She is an elite defender as well. Oakton Vs. Robinson is a game that promises to be low-scoring and physical. It’s not a secret what Robinson is going to do offensively. From the second quarter on, Georgia began to find her footing and take over. Georgia is a threat out of the post or a threat putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim. Georgia is a matchup nightmare and a player that I’ve seen a lot over the past few years. Georgia is a two-way star and has Robinson again looking like one of the best teams in NOVA and a state title contender. Georgia had 29 in a win over Lake Braddock, then had 24 in a win over Alexandria City. 

West Potomac vs Robinson was a game I’ve been looking forward to for a few weeks now, and it was a competitive game that West Potomac fought hard in. She had a few emphatic blocks, and she showed her defensive versatility. She didn’t have a huge scoring game, but she still had 14. She drove to the rim and played well out of the post.

Robinson has one of the best defenses, and it’s fitting for the district they play in. My feeling with Robinson is if they get to 50 points, they are probably going to win. Georgia dominated this week inside, and she had a couple of great performances. Georgia has been dominant her whole Robinson career, and she’s gotten off to a great start to the year. Georgia had 28 in a blowout against Lake Braddock, then followed that with 17 in a competitive win over Woodson.

Georgia is one of the more versatile defenders in the area, with a true ability to guard five positions. Georgia is a great interior scorer and blows by bigger players that guard her. She is a good passer and can play bully ball when she is matched up with smaller players. Georgia is a great athlete, is strong, and a fantastic rebounder.

Has been one of the key pieces to an Elevate Elite s40 and Robinson high team! With her size she is a great defensive player that can guard different positions. She had another productive year for Robinson and AAU. She was able to be one of the go to players this summer showing her skill on both ends of the court! Another good prospect who is staying close to home and will fit in great at Radford next season!

Robinson is a great defensive team, and they play good defenders all over the court. With that being said, Georgia Simonsen Georgia Simonsen 6'0" | SF Robinson Seconday School | 2025 State VA is the anchor and is everywhere defensively. Georgia is a great one-on-one defender in the post. She walls up well and uses her size to block shots. Georgia is an outstanding help defender, rotating over and blocking shots. A lot of what Robinson does defensively is with a zone, and Georgia excels in it. Her ability to challenge jump shooters and consistently get her hand on perimeter player jump shots is elite. She doesn’t have to guard perimeter players one-on-one often, but she has the lateral movement and length to do it well. 

A under the radar player that is surprisingly not on the 3SSB with a lot of talent. Can play the be guard or wing on the perimeter! On Offense Georgia adds a dimension with her good touch around the basket off the dribble allowing her to score against smaller players. Her height makes it easy to see the floor well and make good passes. Rebounds the ball well from her position and is an active defender that can guard front court players if needed.
