The Brookfield Academy post player has been solid each time I’ve seen her play this spring and summer. I was impressed with her when I watched her play with her high school team this past winter, and she has continued to play well during this grassroots season. Peterson has a solid touch around the basket and has the physicality to play through contact. I also liked her ability to rebound and box out around the basket.

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

There aren’t many post players who buy into playing in the paint as early as Peterson has. The Brookfield Academy product had a solid sophomore campaign this past season. After seeing her play twice, I left impressed. The lefty showed she can play through contact and finish around the rim. However, I loved that she could contribute to a press break and make good reads with the ball.
