Size remains one of the most sought-after traits in recruiting, and Giniya Williams Giniya Williams 6'3" | C Hammond Noll | 2027 State IN brings a strong interior presence to Hammond Noll. The talented center has continued developing her game and gives her team a reliable option in the paint.
Williams impacts games through rebounding, rim protection, and physical play around the basket. She does an excellent job using her size to establish position and create second-chance opportunities. Defensively, her presence forces opponents to think twice before attacking the rim.

Giniya is actually closer to 6-3+ and has grown about three inches since she has been in high school. She has an athletically strong frame, really nice length, and she plays with some physicality. Despite her growth, she never really went through an awkward phase, and she has always been a tough-nosed rebounder and defender in the paint. She can box out or chase down boards, and she blocks/affects a lot of shots. Each year, she has gotten better at finishing inside, and through contact, so now adding that mid-range game could be key for her moving forward.

Giniya is another Indiana prospect sure to draw a lot of attention from college coaches this Spring & Summer. She has good size and is probably closer to 6-3 or 6-4 now, she has solid shoulders, some length, good strength, but she can run the floor and she has some bounce to her. Giniya has always been an outstanding rebounding and shot-blocker, so that part of her game should translate immediately. But she is much more comfortable scoring the ball around the block now, she’s adding a mid-post game, and she is learning how to win the footrace in transition to get easy buckets.

I have seen Giniya multiple times over the last couple of years, and she steadily continues to improve. While her offensive game is still developing, it is night & day better than her Freshman year. At the same time, she has always been a highly effective rebounder, defender, and shot blocker. She looks like she has put the time in, in the weight room, but she is still a solid athlete who runs the floor. Keep an eye on her as a top post prospect in 2027 moving forward.

Giniya is still somewhat under the radar on a statewide level, but she is a nice talent who will draw a lot more interest in the future. She already possesses one Division-I offer, as she is long, wiry-strong, somewhat bouncy, plus she rim-runs very well. She is a nice defender/rebounder type around the lane, and she’s willing to be physical. Additionally, she is starting to build a nice mid-post game, and she does have some back-to-the-basket moves as well. With a little more polish to her skillet, she could become a problem.

Giniya was an East Chicago kid who has moved to nearby Bishop Noll Institute as a Sophomore. She brings a great deal of potential, as she is a nice-sized athlete. She has length, an athletically strong frame, plus she can get out and run the floor. She is very active on the boards, she likes contact, and she can really affect a game at the defensive end of the floor. Offensively, her post skill is coming along, and as she continues piling up the reps, she should develop into a really nice college prospect.

Giniya is a nice-sized, strong, athletic frontline prospect. She is still growing and figuring it all out, but she flashes a great deal of potential. She likes to seek contact and fight for her spot around the paint, and as soon as she learns to play just a little lower, she could become a powerful presence there. She works hard and is building her skill from the block to the mid-post, plus she has shown enough upside that she recently picked up her first offer from Division-I Chicago State.
