A guard that stood out the first time I saw her as she made the first three buckets from 3-point range to start the game. II had the opportunity to watch her play this summer in several events and very solid performance in each one. A guard that could play the point or the shooting guard in a open offensive setting. I have seen this young lady couple times of the past few summers and let me start off mentioning that she can shoot the ball. One of those shooters that does not need much space to get shot off. Squared look right at you and as soon as take a step back shot is up. An all-out hustler on the floor that will take that court burn if it means winning that 50/50 ball. Gets up the court on breaks filling the lanes for the up the court pass. An all-out hustler on defense that never gives up on the play.

Lambert is having a good spring, but was quieter in the contest watched. Did hit a HIGH arcing three pointer early on. And while at times she played off the ball next to Young, she was also capable of handling the rock when Young was subbed out. Checking out highlights from a recent tournament, does reaffirm that Lambert is a quality shooter. With a good all around game.

First impression does matter. First time I saw this young lady play was at a super scrimmage in November. Started out the game knocking down 3 from deep in a row. Noted Shooter! That activity level allows her to be in the right place, at the right time to secure rebounds. Along with the scrappy scoring at the rim, look smooth when hitting a catch and shoot three. Then had a nice, off balance runner from around the free throw line. Interesting combo of scoring and hustle plays.
