Grace was perhaps one of the biggest stat sheet fillers I found. She averaged 15.1 points, 5.2 assists, 9.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 3.4 steals per game. She had 55 free throws made, blocked 39 shots, and recorded 12 double doubles. She also shot 42% from the field. Those are numbers that you might not realize how important and talented the player is until you take a look at what they do on a nightly basis.

An athletic 2 or 3 with a lot of versatility on offense and defense. She has improved her offensive game and has a nice touch on the jumper. Her game is best suited as that athlete who does many things well. If she continues to develop offensively, she is a player who could play at the next level. She averaged 13 points per game last season.

I watched Grace play this spring and came away impressed with her overall game. She is a player who can do a lot of things well, including being a great defender on the perimeter with the quickness to disrupt. She has a nice looking shot and the ceiling is high in my opinion for her to make big improvements next year and beyond. She is a smooth player with natural athletic ability that translate into her improving her stats from this season. She averaged 9 points, 6 rebounds, and over 3 steals per game. Look for her to become a prospect to watch with all the skills to make that next jump in the 2024 season. This is a talented backcourt for North Thurston, with Lee playing alongside Soraya Ogaldez Soraya Ogaldez 5'7" | PG North Thurston | 2025 State WA who is #7 in the updated 2025 rankings.

Grace has a lot of athletic ability, and versatility. She does many things well. She made 34 threes and her shot mechanics suggest a higher percentage is to come. She is a good rebounding guard with decent size and good quickness. Between the two, they averaged 7 steals per game this season. They also combined for 90 threes, leading North Thurston to a regional round berth in the 3A state tournament.rn

If you looked at the score sheet, it wouldn’t have had much ink next to her name. That’s not why I am talking about her. She is an athlete. She does everything with a smoothness and you can see that she is talented without scoring a point. She is capable of scoring, don’t get me wrong. She did hit a three or two, and has a nice touch from three and mid-range. I was more impressed with her overall athletic ability and fundamentals to go with it. It was her athleticism that stands out on the floor in most any aspect of the game. She can be a great defender, rebounds, handles the ball, and shoots. I guess you would call that a four tool player in hoops. Another with a high ceiling. This team has several, Brynn Beckman is Askey’s teammate during the high school season and has that same athletic, fundamentally sound style of play.
