Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Grayce is a very intriguing prospect who I think will only get better and better as her career goes on. She has a ton of upside, and she is just starting to scratch the surface. She has great length, wiry strength, a fluid athleticism to her, plus some bounce. Offensively, she can act as a point forward, push the ball in transition, and even initiate the offense. She’s really good in the mid-post, but she is improving as a 3-point shooter as well. Defensively, she can take on bigger guards, wings, and undersized forwards. She also might continue to grow another inch or two.

Grayce is the daughter of former Indiana State star Matt Renn, so she has genetics on her side. She is extremely long, fluidly athletic, and potentially still might grow another inch or two. She is difficult to define by position, because she is extremely versatile and she has a variety of skill. Right now, she’s probably most effective in the mid-post, but she can handle the ball in transition, initiate the offense like a point forward, and create opportunities for herself and teammates. She’s also a developing perimeter shooter and a solid defender. She is averaging 12.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.2 steals per game for the Lady Patriots.
