Grayson Gentile Grayson Gentile 6'2" | PF/C Columbus | 2025 State NE committed to compete with Midamerican Nazarene starting this Fall, a program with a lot of pedigree and success. Gentile, a 6’2 Center, is a player that works hard around the rim primarily. She can work from the midrange and in but she really thrives near the hoop. She has demonstrated over the years on the road that she can matchup with most Forwards that she has come across. This isn’t someone that I would say is going to do something flashy. More-so she works hard, boxes out and boards consistently, she can score with her size advantage on either side of the basket, and she does a good job of running the lane lines in transition like a pro. All of these things will help her compete and hopefully help her see the floor on a consistent basis at the next level. She does her work early on in possessions and that should transition.

The Senior guard leaders from prior years at Columbus High School are gone due to graduation and so now it’s time for Grayson Gentile Grayson Gentile 6'2" | PF/C Columbus | 2025 State NE to become the beast that we all know she can. Gentile is one of the tallest prospects in the state of Nebraska at 6’2/6’3 and she moves extremely well for her height. Defensively, this is a player that can recover near the hoop in short amounts of time if she or a teammate is ever beaten because of her mixture of size, speed, and awareness. On the AAU floor, against others who are her size, Gentile has proven that she can hold her own so there is no reason to think that she won’t do the same thing these next three months at Columbus.

Grayson Gentile Grayson Gentile 6'2" | PF/C Columbus | 2025 State NE of Columbus High School is one of the tallest prospects in the state, that is still uncommitted up until this point. Gentile comes in standing at 6’2 and she has put together a well rounded play-style up into this point in her career. In most situations, on whichever floor she steps on, she is usually the tallest player competing or close to it but it’s not just her size that plays a factor. It’s how she uses it, mixed with her athletic ability and knowledge of the game. She is very good at understanding where to be for missed shots on both sides of the ball, usually rebounding at high rate and she has a soft touch to lay it back in or throw an outlet pass to get down the floor in transition. Moving into this Winter, Gentile has two official basketball offers. One from Ottawa (KS) and one from Briar Cliff (IA). I’m not sure if she is only going to play one sport at the next level as she is also a producer when it comes to Volleyball but I’m sure both of these programs would gladly welcome her on both teams if she wanted. It’s also important to note that I’m sure she will receive a few more offers before she commits, so we will just have to wait and see who else could come into play.

The mixture of size, touch, coordination, and smarts that Grayson Gentile Grayson Gentile 6'2" | PF/C Columbus | 2025 State NE brings to the court is nothing to joke about. Gentile comes in at 6’2, she is very good around the rim on either side of the ball, and she is a heck of a teammate. Up until this point, she has just recently started to receive some collegiate interest but it’s surely not enough. With her mixture of everything, it’s crazy to think that there isn’t a D2 coach out there that is looking for her size. She will be moving into her Senior year this upcoming Winter and where ever she ends up committing to at the end of the day, I’m sure she is going to shine. Especially when put in the right situation to be geared toward her play-style.

Grayson Gentile Grayson Gentile 6'2" | PF/C Columbus | 2025 State NE is a prospect out of Columbus High School that many might not know as of yet but that is all about to change. Gentile is a 6’2 Forward, with great size and wherewithal on the court. She is a quick mover for her size with the ability to score a bunch of different buckets near the rim in both transition of half court sets, while being a stopper near in the paint against anyone that may challenge her. This AAU season has been a respectable one for Gentile with her Nebraska Attack program. Every time she takes the floor, her size plays a factor in one way or another. Moving into this Fall, she does have some collegiate interest from the past few months so it’ll be intriguing to see how that goes. Within the correct system at the next level, mixed with her dedication, she could produce on a ton of different floors looking toward the near future.
