Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a team player that loves to win games. I pride myself in my defense and offensive ability and love to play ball at a fast pace. I feel like the ability to hop into any game and just go, is really what makes my style different. Put me with any team and I will work my butt off for my team. I am tough and can play tough when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am determined, competitive and hard working. I love to fight for my teammates and Coaches. Winning games is obviously at the forefront of my mind but getting to play with great girls and being blessed to enjoy the game is really what makes it for me. Giving up is not an option!!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Involved in Beta, FCCLA, FFA serving as president, secretary, and treasurer, Volleyball, and FCA. I have won a lot of agricultural related awards, such as star green hand, cake decorating and lamb and goat championships and showmanships.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I feel like being a young freshman in high school, with not a whole lot of experience at the upper level and no great role models as seniors to help guide me I was just thrown into the fire of high school sports. There has been a lot of change through the years not just individually as a player but also as a leader I have really had to step up and lead the girls and show the winning mentality.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The first challenge was a major coaching change going into my freshman year. Then once getting into high school having to learn the ropes and find my ground even when the odds were against me. The latest challenge was making the decision to transfer to Link Academy for my senior year, that was the biggest challenge of my career yet, but change is what grows people no matter the situation.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that feels like home a place where when I am on campus and around the team it is just a supportive uplifting environment with the mentality to win and fight for each other no matter what happens and where we can talk out our differences and build from it. Also, a college that offers a great education and schooling that can take me to the next level in life.
