Player Bio
About me
My name is Hadley Meyer I play basketball for Thayer High School in Missouri. I have a 4.0 GPA. I have started varsity since my freshman year. I just completed my Jr year averaging 18.5 pts 8 rebounds, and led my team shooting average. I was recently named 1st team all district, 1st team all conference and the SCA Player of the year!!
What position(s) do you play? What do you view as your strengths?
I am 6' and play post and strong forward. Defensively I play the 3,4,5. I am strong defensively because I am a very physical player, which could also be an area to work on, not fouling. My ball handling is improving and I work with a point guard trainer to continuously add dimension to my game.
What type of school are you looking for?
Obviously I would like to be valued early on, but mostly would like to find a school that can help me continue to develop. I am very young for my grade and would even consider red shirting in order to continue to work on my skill improvement. A college that offers business, culinary or Ag classes is a plus. Coming from a small rural high school, making an adjustment to academic change is important
What are your interests outside of Basketball?
Where to start with outside interests. I am a pretty good Volleyball player, maybe next level as well. I live on a farm so showing livestock, especially lambs and goats has been a passion I have been very successful at. I love baking and cooking, and do all the family birthday cakes. My mom and I clean and help decorate our church in Koshkonong, Mo. I like people, and laughing.
Closing Statement
Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and learn about me and my style of play. I want to continue to learn and grow at the next level if you have interest in recruiting me please message me. Thanks again Hadley.
