She is the epitome of an elite point guard, not only is she a great leader as she can distribute the ball, defensively she’s in your face, with ball pressure and ready to force mistakes. She showed me some good vocal leadership on the court also in the game that I saw. Incredible hands, easy buckets. If I am picking a 16U MVP, she gets it.

Elite defender and tough, physical guard. One of the quickest guards, she plays with a scoring mentality and natural leadership. Takes every possession seriously and can get hot, even if her shot is inconsistent. A strong ballhandler with a great first step, she finishes well at the rim and makes an impact on both ends of the floor. Her energy and competitiveness set the tone for her team and elevate everyone around her.

Leading a team to a state finals trip is no easy task, and Gray did just that. She’s a blur of an athlete and can finish through whatever contact presents itself. You can see the trust she has in her game, and she relies on the work she clearly puts in. Aggressive, quick, and never backing down from whoever is in front of her. Lots of heart.

Leading scorer who is a clever plaver with a nice pull-up game. Very instinctual, which can be both a strength and something to refine. A shifty guard who can cause problems by speeding up the ball handlers. Tough shooting night, but she didn’t lose confidence. Still aggressive and willing to make plays. Needs more rhythm at times, but when she gets in rhythm she can completely change the tempo of a game.

Hailey Hailey 5'4" IL is a fast paced exciting guard for Belleville East. She features a very quick release on her jumper, and can knock down the outside shots at will. Gray is an athletic player that will only continue to get better over the next couple seasons.
