Hailey is having a great season for Oak Grove and recently had a double-double against Thompson, recording 16 points and 11 rebounds. She positions herself around the rim effectively and plays the hi-lo game to perfection. She knows when to duck in and seal when the ball is at the high post. She knows when to dive to the rim when the ball is in the short corner. What is most impressive about Hailey is her ability to switch onto smaller, quicker girls and keep them in front on the defensive side of the floor.

Hailey is a solid post who impressed me with the small details of her game. She kept space on drives and then put herself back into great offensive rebounding position. She kept a lot of plays alive by either offensive rebounding the ball or tipping it to teammates. She was effective in the press break finishing a handful of layups. Hailey also did a very nice job of positioning herself defensively in the post and preventing easy baskets for Valley City.
