The Wisconsin Lutheran wing is among the more impressive players in the incoming freshmen class around the state. Langebartels has elite size for the high school level and is among the best set shooters at the prep level right now. She also has a high release, which allows her to shoot over defenders trying to contest her shot. She’s also a physical player who can play around the basket on both ends of the floor. There’s still room for her to develop, as with any incoming freshman, but there are a lot of tools you won’t find in many at the high school level.

The future Wisconsin Lutheran wing is a kid who comes from a basketball family, and you tell her she’s a high-IQ player. Langebartels sees the floor well and can read the game quickly. She’s an excellent perimeter shooter. Even though she didn’t shoot it her best in the moments I watched her, she does have 40% or better upside as a perimeter shooter. She’s also more than a perimeter shooter and is comfortable finishing around the basket with both hands, and has the size and frame to play through contact when she gets downhill. Wisconsin Lutheran has a talented roster from top to bottom, and I’ll be interested to see what type of role Langbartels can carve out in year one.

Fresh off of a scholarship offer from Oakland University and garnering interest from more schools coming into the camp Langebartels has been on everyone’s radar from coaches to players and she didn’t let up, Day 2 her inside game stood out showing that she is a true 3 level scorer.

In my opinion, Langebartels can do just about everything on the court. Standing around 6’2″ , she sees the floor extremely well and understands how to attack defenses. Once she gets going, she can be very difficult to stop both inside and out. It took only a few minutes into the first game I ever watched her play for me to realize she was one of the best shooters in the gym. Langebartels buried deep threes with confidence and consistency. Competing the summer with a loaded Chapman squad, she’s definitely a player I’m excited to continue to watch.

I watched Langebartels’ Chapman Basketball Academy group for the first time in Louisville, and to say Langebartels made a good first impression would be an understatement. The future Wisconsin Lutheran wing shot the lights out and showed she can push the ball up the floor in transition. The size and skill she has as a 2030 should help her seperate herself from most players in her class, not just in the state, but the region, and potentially beyond.
