After earning a roster spot with 1A Hunter-Kinard-Tyler as an eighth grader, Sapp took a massive leap in her freshman campaign with the Trojans. Sapp competed in 24 contests last season in Hunter-Kinard-Tyler’s signature powder blue hue while averaging 11.1 points, 3.8 steals, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. That stellar play from Sapp helped Hunter-Kinard-Tyler to another stellar season as the Trojans finished 18-6 – and 12-2 in its region. Sapp was one of four from the class of 2029 on last season’s team and Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will compete in Division 2 of 1A beginning this upcoming season. The Trojans have now put together double-digit winning campaigns the last four seasons.
