About Hayley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am someone who always gives 100% effort on the court. Although I may not be the fastest or best player on the court, I am always going to try the hardest to help the team do better. Although I do make mistakes, I try to always keep my head up, move on to the next play, and not let my emotions affect my gameplay.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality has always been very hardworking. I am always usually one of the first people to show up at practice to get some extra shots up, come to every practice and optional workout, and always work to get better every time I’m in the gym.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in National Beta Club, National Technical Honors Society (NTHS), and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Since starting to play basketball I have developed a quality of leadership. Being a point guard (and guard) I have learned that I have to control my team. Everyone is always looking to you for the play call, what to do next, etc. You have to keep your emotions in check, because your actions always affect your teammates, and can rub off on them.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that is nearby and close to home.
