The New Mexico guard played very well in the games that I watched. She shot the ball very well and with range well beyond the three-point stripe. Haylo also played solid defense on the ball, giving opposing ball handlers problems.

Whiteman is a budding guard with floor spacing capabilities. And this was evident this past weekend as she connected on several catch & shoot three-pointers . Whiteman was particularly confident from the top of the key and wing areas and did not shy away from letting it fly.
On the flip-side, Whiteman had active hands which led to steals and deflections.
