Arnold showed the complete package at The Champion Center on Sunday and stood out as one of my top players. One of the better shooters, Arnold proved that she does not need much room to get off her deadly accurate outside shot. Solid with the rock, Arnold showed tight handles and great vision making the correct read seemingly every time she had the ball.

Each time I’ve seen Arnold play, I thoroughly enjoy watching her on the floor. She is a high-motor player who competes on the defensive side of the ball, and even though she isn’t the most physically intimidating player on the floor, she can be a pest. I also loved watching her attack off the dribble. She was confident and decisive whenever she wanted to take her defender off the dribble. Arnold is an entertaining player to watch.

In all honesty, smaller guards, especially younger ones, can feel like a dime a dozen, and make it harder for them to earn roles at the high school level as early as other players. However, players like Arnold are hard not to love watching, from a neutral standpoint. She was unafraid of contact and even searched it out at times. Seeing a kid like her dig in and box out 6-0 kids is something I get a kick out of, but it showed how competitive she was, whether she got a rebound or not. That’s not even mentioning how confident she was as a creator. We’ll see if she carves out a role at the high school level early on, but she was a player I enjoyed watching.

The 24:Up point guard was an offensive threat, hard to stop when attacking the basket. There was a few stretches Arnold went on runs of her own

Shifty guard that can spin her way to the basket and has great court vision. Has great quickness, and her change of pace on the floor is strategic in her team’s scoring opportunities. Her speed makes the defense struggle to guard her down the court. Being smaller means nothing for her as she can finish through at the rim.

A shifty point guard who made things happen all day. Arnold put together multiple scoring streaks of her own, using her speed to keep defenders on their heels. She looked in complete control for a loaded 24:UP team.
