Inarah Nesbitt
About Inarah
Expert Analysis
Grant McGinnis | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Ranked in the top 40 in the class of 2027, Nesbitt is a versatile guard/small forward who prides herself on being a defense-first competitor. Often assigned the toughest matchups, Inarah embraces the challenge and consistently delivers. That doesn’t show up as much in a showcase setting like the Expo, but her offensive skills certainly did. She demonstrated quickness, athleticism and plenty of craft. Playing with poise and a healthy dose of leadership qualities, Nesbitt is mature and steady. Inarah played a role last winter in 25 varsity appearances for Hopkins. With multiple graduations from last year’s rotation, she has a chance to emerge as a go-to contributor now.

Following the graduation of Florida guard, Liv McGill, the Hopkins Royals have seen a big infusion of young guard talent this offseason. Among the group is Nesbitt, a 5’8 sophomore. On Sunday Nesbitt demonstrated her prowess on the offensive end, scoring the ball in numerous ways. She excels at scoring in transition, as well as breaking players down one-on-one. Combine her handles, ability to read the defense, and multiple finishes around the rim, and Inarah makes for a formidable threat on the drive. In her freshman year at Bloomington Jefferson, Nesbitt averaged a team high 12.1 points per game. This year she looks to bring that scoring to her new home in Hopkins.
