Irelynn might be a 2030, but she didn’t show an ounce of timidity on the court. She was a playmaker for Team 8 at the Freshman Showcase. Irelynn caught a pass and accelerated down the baseline with a dribble burst to score a soft floater off two feet. Irelynn penetrated a gap again with a shifty crossover move to score another layup and buried a wing three. I’m sure Irelynn is going to tear it up during her school season, and I’ll be looking for her on the travel circuit next spring!
