Iris has been a bright spot for the Wolverinas this season, and today was another showing of it. She started this morning off with three shots from beyond the arc.

I really like what Jordan brings to the team- she is a scorer from deep, and does a nice job of finding the open spots. Moves well without the ball, plays with composure, and defensively holds her own! She’s the type of player that impacts the game, whether she is scoring or not- and that caught my attention!

I’ve already said that the
Wolverinas
program is one to know and that they bring a lot of talent to the hardwood. Someone else from their 15U team that I’ll be paying attention to is
Iris Jordan

. Jordan is more of your scrappy, Swiss army knife type prospect. She works hard on and off of the ball, while understanding that the game is usually it’s most successful when you can contribute without the ball in your hands. Jordan is a multiple sport athlete and also a great student in the classroom. These things are going to give her more options to her college career when it comes that time. Something that will be here before you know it.

Iris showed her ability to stretch the court with multiple back to back threes and a couple off balance makes. She knows when to make the extra pass or when to be aggressive. High IQ.
