How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Regarding my gameplay style, as a point guard, I love executing plays to give my team mates shooting opportunities. I also love making plays utilizing my speed and ball handling skills to confuse defenders as well driving in for layups and attacking the rim.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say that my personality brings a lot of energy and mental toughness. I am a "tell it how it is" person. I like to give tips to my team mates to help them through skills and plays and also participate in team bonding activities. I would also say that I am really good at being coachable. I am constantly looking for feedback on how I can improve at the sport.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been involved in non-sport activities and clubs. I have participated in student council/student government, honors choir and was also a member of NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) to which I received an award. I was also accepted into my High School Honors program call SOAR which stands for Students of Academic Rigor.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a point guard has helped me learn how to be a leader on and off the court. Some ways I provide leadership to my basketball teammates and school peers is to motivate them in a way of complimenting, encouraging, communicating, and helping them with leading by example for them to pass on.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Like most people, I have faced difficult challenges in my life which has caused a lot of stress and anxiety. I handle these situations by doing box breathing exercises while listening to music. Before and after a big game where I feel that my adrenaline is still high, this method helps calm me down.
