Garcia has been an automatic double-double as of late, but got into very early foul trouble in this one. Garcia came out in the 2nd half with a ton of energy and helped lead a 3rd quarter Cookeville run. Garcia runs a really nice pick and roll, and is simply underrated as one of my favorite unsigned ’24s. Garcia played a terrific second half on both ends of the floor. Made a beautiful move lat in the 4th on a drop step to give Cookeville the two point lead. Ended with 11 points

I didn’t know enough about Garcia coming into the year….but she impresses every time I get a chance to watch her play. I know she’s had some big scoring outings this year, and has the reputation as as competitive defender, rebounder, etc. What I didn’t expect was her defensive intensity! On Monday night in a win, Garcia had 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks! Those five blocks stood about because I’ve been watching her amongst the shot block leaders around the state (currently averaging 1.8 blocks per game!)

Garcia only averages 12.2, but shoots over 50% from the field in getting there. What I love about Garcia’s game is that she knows how to capture the moment: when her team needs her to score, she can score in bunches. So far, she’s picked her spots, and while it might not equate to big numbers, it is equating to big success.

Garcia has been known about in the UC’s for a while, but her dominant outing vs McMinn Central put herself on the state map. As Cookeville tries to stay on top of the mountain, Garcia has to be a big piece of that.

Garcia’s skillset is just smooth and effortless. She’s a sniper from behind the arc, and has the craftiness to get to the rim in just a couple moves. Solid playmaker too. Can be a huge piece for her HS program going forward.

Bella has GAME. She is a skillful athlete whose performance on the court directly reflects her work off of it. Her ball handling skills, speed and ability to score at all levels makes her a triple threat whether in HS or AAU season. Incredibly smooth on the court, she is super fun to watch.

Garcia has the confidence that every shooter needs. No matter if they’re falling or not, she will shoot. Which goes to show you how much she believes in her shot. Before the camp even started, Garcia was one of the early players on the court getting some shots up.. but not just random shots, she got reps in that she knew she’d take in the game. A very talented guard who will be a key piece to the emerging top tier program Pink Elite . Great potential.
