Brandyn Newbins | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Isabella has been a dominant force for her team over the past few years and has carried that same momentum into this season. She gets what she wants in the paint, using her strength and touch to control the interior. What’s added another layer to her game is her improved ability to space the floor and knock down the three when needed.

is a player to watch. Time and again, she’s carried the responsibility of leading her team through difficult moments. Isabella’s offensive presence in the paint make it hard for teams to matchup against her. Expect her to set the tone early and for her teammates to follow her lead.

Monk is a fearless finisher inside the paint, productive with either hand through contests. Active getting up for loose balls, the forward is constantly searching for extra scoring opportunities. Staying true to the fundamentals on defense, Monk gets low to box out opponents around the rim. As one of the most productive 2026 athletes in the Colorado Springs region, Monk brings immense value to a 9-5 Widefield group.

Monk brings energy on either end of the floor, maintaining a consistent awareness. They do an excellent job of keeping the opponent honest, staying ready to jump passing lanes or at least deflect the pass. Monk is always prepped to leap into position, either for help defense or a rebound. The forward brings plenty of grit to the interior, never shying away from contact if necessary to secure possession on the glass. Her continued growth in efficiency will be worth monitoring, already given a large opportunity throughout her previous season at 14-9 Widefield.
