A revelation this season has been the improvement of Friesleben. She’s playing the best basketball I’ve seen her play. She looks more comfortable on the floor than I’ve seen for some time, and she’s been her most productive version of herself in her final season as a Viking. The lefty can score from all three levels and handle the ball on the perimeter. She’s a multi-sport athlete who could pursue a few different avenues at the next level, but she could be a sneaky addition to a basketball program if she wants to keep playing.
