A large factor in Loomis Chaffee being the 3x defending Founders League Champions, Cruz has been an essential figure in the team contending. Izzy is a marksman that can shoot from swing possessions, coming off screens and by putting it on the deck a bit before pulling up. Not as much of a volume shooter, as she is efficient. Izzy knows her spots and when to pick them. The steadiness she presents allows her to be a reliable option for her teammates. Recruiters should know they are getting a sturdy option that’ll greatly assist any floor spacing needs.

Cruz is a name you will hear about this winter at Loomis Chaffee. She was a game changer by being one of the top playmakers in attendance. She was in attack mode all day long. She showed her versatile skill set, with her outside shooting, soft floater in the lane and many crafty finishing moves at the rim. All very important skills for a guard. She also had her fluid step back jumper on. She does a good job creating separating from the defense. She has great feel for the game and knows how to control her body. Cruz was a member of the class A championship team last season, and watch out as she look to lead the Loomis team to repeat.
