The long guard is good at getting to her pull-up jumper. Jace shoots over smaller defenders off the bounce and will turn the corner to draw fouls downhill. She has good range on her three-point shot and is becoming an all-around impact maker with her improved defense. Sanderson collected 13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks in a 46-42 OT win against Rabun County.

Polished scorer with a smooth shooting stroke. Gets into her shot quickly off movement. Effective from deep, in the mid-range, and at the rim. Has crafty footwork and excellent touch on pull-ups and floaters. Improving as a ball handler and creator. Long guard who’s adding strength—has three-level scoring potential and defensive versatility.

Rainbow stroke three from the corner, excellent shooting mechanics! Shows patience with her decisions, makes the extra pass- unselfish baller! I like her mid-range jumper. Beats her opponents off the dribble. Plays under control!

Don’t be surprised if Jace’s production comes close to All-State caliber. She’s a lights out shooter both off the catch and dribble. She will get a ton of open looks in the flex offense and off of Iverson cuts. Sanderson has a big future ahead.

Up from No. 65: Dangerous three-point shooter off the catch and off the dribble. Has substantial range. If ran off the line, Sanderson is smooth enough to make a move and get to the rim with both hands.

Plays multiple roles for her team, and is a flat out hustler. She has a natural stride to get up and down the court. In transition, she understands that running the floor will reward her with a layup. Her 3 point shot is as natural as her stride. I’m confident Sanderson will have a break out season as she enters her first season at Gilmer.

The first play that made brought my attention to Sandserson was when she was posting on the low block and she finished an up and under move. She held the ball high as she pivoted to find room to jump up and release a high release shot. She also can shoot the 3 off the bounce as she went 3/3 from beyond the arc in an early 3×3 game. She will also use her size to get inside and rebound.

Moves well without the ball and doesn’t take long to get into her shot. Has good footwork off the catch. Shoots the three with accuracy and is a slippery driver that finishes with both hands.
