About Jacklynn
Expert Analysis
Steve Quattrocchi | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Amis nearly averaged a double-double as a freshman last year and don’t be surprised if she averages something like 14 points and 11 rebounds per game this season. Physically imposing at 6’2, Jacklynn is capable of protecting the rim on defense and finishing at the rim on the offensive end. Amis maximized her touches on offense last year and was one of the top field goal percentage shooters in the region in her Freshman season. With a bigger role as a Sophomore, look for Jacklynn to command more of a role on offense and provide a post presence for PCC that they haven’t had recently.

Jacklynn is a strong and physical big with a high skill level. She’s an efficient scorer around the rim, finishing with power through contact, and has a feathery shooting touch that makes her nearly automatic from 10–15 feet. Her footwork in the post is impressive, she runs the floor well, and is very nimble for her size. She’s an aggressive rebounder and provides a strong presence in the paint on the defensive end, clogging lanes and protecting the basket. As a freshman, Jacklynn averaged 8.5 points and a team-high 7.5 rebounds per game.
