How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

With my height more coaches want to stick me on the block, but I am also good as a wing player. I can shoot the ball and drive the ball. I am also a good passer and can block and can get key offensive and defensive rebounds when needed. I pick up on things quickly…show me a few times and I got it.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am known to be quiet but that doesn’t mean I am not paying attention or understanding. I ask questions when I don’t understand and I absorb what is being taught/shown to me. I am wiling to get on that court and work with my teammates to get the W.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Two years ago, my favorite grandparent (my maternal grandmother) retired and came to live with us and I was really excited because we had a lot of fun plans together. However, very soon after we learned that her breast cancer had returned and was Stage IV. We lost her within 6 months and it was really hard for me. I had lost my maternal grandfather 2 years prior but this lost really hurt.

What type of college are you looking for?

For me, my choice is school would be based on a combination of academics and basketball. I want to major in Finance as I am really good with Math (and money) so it is important that the school has that as a major. From the basketball side, it’s important for me to be part of a program that I will be able to continue to grow and develop and a coach that pushes me to be better.
