When she decides to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim, she uses her physicality to will her way there, and if you’re not on her level, it’s an easy bucket. If you overcommit, she has a smooth spin move to get herself back in position. With her quick, explosive first step, she’s a threat whether she catches the ball in the high post or on the baseline, finishing off two feet or using a baseline reverse layup to her advantage.
Don’t be fooled—if you back off and force her to shoot, she can knock down the jump shot as well. What sets her apart is her will to outwork her opponents. She fights for every loose ball like it’s the last play of the game, making her a rebounding machine. She consistently out-rebounds bigger and stronger players simply because she wants it more.
