is a force in the middle and she put on a show from the freethrow and in tbe paint a few weeks ago. Housey can do it all, but it was just refreshing to watch her dominate a game without taking a three. That midrange game is potent and it makes her overall game so deadly.

She impressed with a complete offensive game against Team Melo! She wasn’t
afraid of contact and consistently attacked the rim, while also knocking down threes and hitting mid-range jumpers off the dribble. In transition, she ran the floor hard and finished
well. Right now, she looks like one of the most well-rounded scorers in her class with
few, if any, offensive flaws.

Jaelynn is not a new name to many people, but I really think her game has gone to the next level. She has quite a few offers from mid-major programs and some P4 schools as well, and I think that number will only continue to climb this summer. She’s coachable, plays hard on both ends of the floor, and is an elite talent. Her shot from deep is looking better each time I watch her, and she is not afraid to lock someone up on defense or finish strong at the rim.

checked the boxes at the Sunshine Showdown and CLEARLY solidified herself as one of the top players in the State. Housey just ate up teams in the middle of the defense with the pull-up jumper, stop and pop, catch and shoot, and getting to the rim. At times, Housey was the decision maker and playmaker. She had some nice assists down low and kick-outs to her shooters. Housey is a highly skilled player and her efficiency, IQ, and all around game was evident. She was definitely one of the top players in the building.

is a force with the ball, making her opponents want to switch immediately as soon as they guard her. She has one of the best first steps I’ve seen, and once she gets downhill, there’s no stopping her. Jaelyn keeps defenders on their heels with her pace dribble, then uses her explosive first step when they least expect it. She has the strength to split defenders when help defense comes and still finish at the rim. This threat also sets defenders up for her quick and smooth euro step. Jaelyn is also capable of knocking down the corner three at a high percentage.
On the defensive end, she’s no slouch either—she can guard positions 1-5 and is one of the best rebounding guards, excelling at boxing out, holding her ground, and grabbing rebounds at the highest point. Jaelyn averaged 24 PPG this past season, with a season-high 40-point game, followed by a 38-point performance. She also averaged 7.0 rebounds per game, with a season-high of 17 rebounds in one contest. At 5’10”, Jaelyn is already built like a Division I collegiate guard and plays with enough physicality to compete at that level, which is why she has multiple D1 offers.
