She freezes defenders with her hesitation move and uses her speed and ball-handling to get to her spots, consistently getting her floater or runner off over taller defenders. In transition, she puts defenders on their heels with her quickness and creativity, effortlessly moving from one side of the floor to the other.

Jakenzye McBride Jakenzye McBride 5'3" | PG Centennial | 2026 State FL is a quick, shifty guard who can handle the ball well under pressure and plays each possession like it’s her last on both ends of the court. Her ability to use her crossover to get downhill and draw two defenders creates easy opportunities for her twin towers to finish at the rim. Her vision in transition also sets up easy buckets for teammates who run the floor. Last season at South Fork, Jakenzye averaged 10.8 PPG, 2.2 APG, and 2.9 SPG. Her ability to run the point guard position will be a valuable addition to the Centennial Eagles this season.
