Jakiyah brought athleticism and speed to the defensive end and used both to make things difficult for the players she was guarding. She showed good hands defensively and consistently competed on that end of the floor. Jakiyah also helped finish possessions by rebounding well, giving her team opportunities to get out and play in transition. Offensively, she used her speed to get downhill and put pressure on the defense. Her ability to defend, rebound, and quickly transition to offense gave her a solid impact throughout Week 1.
