is a steady, high-impact combo guard who brings production, leadership, and control to the floor. At 5’9”, she has great size for her position and the versatility to impact the game in multiple ways.
Alford plays with a calm, composed presence, making smart decisions and consistently putting her team in position to succeed. She can handle the ball, facilitate offense, and step into scoring when needed—showing the ability to balance playmaking with offensive production.
What stands out most is her maturity and feel for the game. She doesn’t force the action—she reads it, controls it, and delivers within the flow. Whether it’s creating for others, knocking down shots, or managing tempo, Alford brings a winning approach every time she steps on the court.

has enjoyed a remarkable high school career. At the time of this evaluation, JaLeeyah has achieved a significant milestone in basketball by scoring 1,000 points, further solidifying her legacy. Observing her play over the past few years, she has become one of my favorite players to watch on the court. JaLeeyah is a formidable presence on the floor, both as a scorer and as a defender, consistently giving her utmost effort. She is also a very unselfish player and will undoubtedly be missed by her teammates. We extend our best wishes to her for the remainder of this season and all her future endeavors.

is wearing Number 32 for the Lady Panthers of Sterlington High School. JaLeeyah had an amazing night. She is someone you can’t forget about on the court or she will make you pay. JaLeeyah had 2a few steals and turnovers caused by great hustle and ball pressure, and knowing where the ball was on the floor at all times, and great communication with her fellow teammates. JaLeeyah has the skills to score from all levels if needed, but has done most of her damage on mid-range jumpers and driving and cutting to the rim strongly. She is a type of player who can help a team at the next level.

Alford delivered a high-level performance against Ruston in a pre-season scrimmage, catching the attention of a college coach with her poised play and impressive skills. She is a threat both inside and outside, playing the game with a chip on her shoulder. A high-level rebounder and an intimidating defender, she is an ideal prospect for next-level competition. I know Sterlington has lost some players, but if they are on your schedule, WATCH OUT!!! Alford is a beast.

A strong physical forward that held her own among the trees all weekend. Quick hops allowed her to be an effective offensive rebounder for her team. A must box out type player from 10 feet out cause she is going to crash the boards hunting down the offensive rebound.

Small forward that showed a nice mid range jump shot to go along with inside power moves. Excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor. Double Double potential every game. Quick hops allowed her to grab the offense rebound and pop right back up. An undersize small forward that guarded the much taller post with no issues at all. Effective defender on the second line of the press using her quickness to steal any long passes. JaLeeyah should be a player to keep an eye on.
