It shouldn’t be a surprise to see Eason’s name take a significant jump in the upcoming class rankings. Jali has proven so far that she’s one of the best freshman and its clear through her confidence executing no matter the situation, she’s a gifted talent The sample size is starting to become too large to have her at her current position. #25 is too low for the dynamic combo guard.

Eason was a serious difference maker and to be quite frank, her positioning in the rankings is far too low at the moment. It could be argued that this is a top 10 player in ’29. She received All-ISL honors for her dynamic and consistent play. Jali didn’t play like a freshman at all this season.

Jali put together an impressive freshman season, earning both NEPSAC All-Star and All-ISL honors while establishing herself as one of the top young players in the league. She brings poise beyond her years when handling the ball, calmly directing her teammates and not letting defensive pressure speed her up. Offensively she can score from all three levels, knocking down threes, creating mid-range space with spins and fadeaways, and attacking the rim where she finishes strong and draws fouls.

The Governor’s 2-way guard has an incredibly high-motor, a tenacious attitude and natural instincts that’re all coming together nicely. Eason’s contribution to winning can’t be denied; her impact has already been felt early on. Jali has been playing very well as of late, showing signs of a star in the making. She’s starting to score the ball confidently too. Eason is getting deep in the lane on drives and showing flashes of dynamic creation ability in bunches. The lively defense plus activity on the boards must be mentioned as well. Watching Jali’s last game, it’s obvious how much of a force she can. She has tremendous upside; it wouldn’t be surprising to see Eason crack the top 10 at some point.

Jali consistently makes her presence felt on the glass, ripping down rebounds for her team, which is especially impressive given her guard position. She immediately looks to push the pace after securing the ball, using her speed and control to ignite transition offense that defenders struggle to contain. A reliable shooter from behind the three-point line, she can score both off the catch and off the dribble. Her all-around impact was on full display against Proctor Academy, where she posted a double-double with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The high energy play and primary creation skills coming from Eason are fantastic right now. She’s consistently making those momentum swinging plays that are needed to win. Eason gets downhill with a purpose and finishes through contact like its normal. Jali will be a fun player to watch this season; it’ll be intriguing to see how that thrilling style of play can help stimulate her team on the high school level.

Eason can be a prolific scorer getting downhill, one that takes advantage of a lot of the isolation possessions she sees in a game. It’ll be interesting to see the adjustments she’s able to make in high school this season. In her area she’s already considered one of the best young players around. Eason is a name to keep an eye on.

Dubbed, “Miss Salsa” by some, the ’29 combo guard is ready to tango with anyone. She’s highly competitive and looks to take advantage of the mismatches in isolation possessions. Eason is a bigtime scoring threat for someone her age. Jali can create space from her athletic build, getting downhill forcefully or she can generate a rhythm for herself using build up moves that put players under duress while compelling them to move east to west. Her ability to handle the pressure in marquee matchups and raise her level of play when it counts the most makes her a must-watch within the class.

Jali is an incredibly dynamic attacking force that has a very high celling. Still raw in some areas, but remarkably sensational in other areas. She understands space and timing, so her crafted drives to the basket look one of a kind. Her handle is well put together, making this an emphatic part of her game. Eason’s first step is lethal; an initial move from her off the catch can be dangerous for any defender not accustomed to staying low. If Jali gets a player off balance, she knows exactly what to do from there. Her natural ability plus upper-class athleticism keeps her soaring above of a lot of the competition. She’s currently the #4th ranked player in the class.
