Davis is scoring 24.9 points per game after 12 contests. She is ranked No. 1 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025. She is committed to play for the Kansas Jayhawks. She is dominant in the paint and that’s where she does the bulk of her scoring.

Davis is currently the No. 1 ranked player overall in the Kansas Class of 2025 rankings. I was able to confirm that she remains uncommitted as of October 14. She has multiple Division I offers including Arizona, Baylor, Florida, and Syracuse. I saw Davis play in a team camp at Pittsburg State. She can dominate the paint and clean the boards.

When I watch Jaliya Davis play, I just laugh because she is so tough and almost impossible to guard for anyone at the high school level right now. Davis stand at 6’2 with muscle mass and agile movement to pair along with it. She is a cleaner on the boards with her ability to position herself for rebounds, while having great touch on the ball on either side of the hoop as she attacks the rim. This is another top rated recruit in the country out of the 2025 Class so it comes to no surprise that she killed it this weekend and made every game her own. She will have one more season on the high school court and then she will take her ability to the next level to compete somewhere that I’m sure is highly regarded in the Women’s College Basketball world.
