About Jami

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am aggressive on defense, average about 2 to 3 blocks a game. Also, I am a strong rebounder, averaging around 9 rebounds a game.I have a soft touch around the rim, averaging 8 points a game. Also I have good basketball IQ.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Mentality-I am strong on the court, determined to do my best always and see the floor well. Personality-I am committed to my craft, humble and coachable.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Clubs and Organizations: - Students Council for 2 years, Breast Cancer Awareness for 2 years, first years of being VP for the Diversity Club, Junior Representative for the River Bender Youth Growth Association, member of the MCHS Ambassador Program and student manager of the Varsity football team Awards: - Honor Roll my freshman and sophomore year

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

-I am team player, who involves my teammates to get the job done - I am not afraid to ask for opportunities for my self and my teammates - I am very organized - I am always willing to help and volunteer where I can

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, unlike most kids who started playing when they were younger, I started playing in 5th grade. Due to Covid, I lost a year of development. It forced me to work extra hard to become the player I am today.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for either a D1 or D2 school that has a bachelor degree program in sports management with strong internship connections. I am also looking for a chance to play on a women’s basketball team.
