Ever since Jamyla Gilmore Jamyla Gilmore 6'2" | PF Bellevue East | 2025 State NE de-committed this past month, she has been the hottest unsigned recruit that the state of Nebraska has to offer. Gilmore, the 6’2 PF has several coaches from the D2, NAIA, and Juco levels reaching out to see if she would be interested to come aboard. That’s just one more reason to think that Gilmore is going to put together her best season to date. She is going to be extremely motivated to show everyone recruiting her, that she can play at a high level. If she comes into the Winter locked in and hungry like I think she will be, she should put up some great numbers for her Senior season, before eventually committing to her future home. Wherever that may be.

I would consider Jamyla Gilmore Jamyla Gilmore 6'2" | PF Bellevue East | 2025 State NE of Bellevue East High School a Mismatch Nightmare because of her mixture of height at 6’2, her touch on the basketball, her coordination near the hoop, and her ability to matchup with anyone else physically near the rim. For Bellevue East, Gilmore will be a staple once again for her squad for her Senior season. Following this campaign, she will take her talents to D2- Drury, where I think that she will kill it for the Panthers in the grand scheme of things. Everything I mentioned above with even more experience is going to fair well for her on her basketball journey and who knows where that could take her at the end of the day.

Jayla Gilmore of Bellevue East High School is one of the state’s premier Post players and she is looking to put together a special Senior season, prior to leaving for Drury, where she will be competing following her high school career. Gilmore stands at 6’2, she has length, athletic ability, and a lot of confidence on both ends of the court. She is a game changer in the aspects of Rebound, Blocking/Altering Shots, and cleaning up messes on the offensive glass with her ability to get a rebound and a put back, over most who matchup against her. At Drury, Gilmore will fit in the Panthers system with her athletic ability and natural height. If she finds her place within the program early on, she should be a difference maker throughout her career.

Jamyla Gilmore Jamyla Gilmore 6'2" | PF Bellevue East | 2025 State NE put together another impressive AAU season with her Team Factory UAA program and that helped lead her to grabbing a handful of college offers this past six months. As of most recent, Gilmore committed to take her talents to D2 – Drury to compete following her high school career at Bellevue East. The Drury Panthers are a prestigious program, that understand what it takes to win. They run the floor in transition at a high rate, they turn up the pressure on their opponents, and their rosters are usual loaded with versatile talent from top-to-bottom. Gilmore is going to be a force to be reckon with at the D2 level while standing at 6’2 and that should be fun to watch.

One of the most impressive Forwards compete this AAU season with her Team Factory program is Jamyla Gilmore Jamyla Gilmore 6'2" | PF Bellevue East | 2025 State NE of Bellevue East High School. Gilmore has size, knowledge of the game, athletic ability by the rim, and physicality to her play style. She is someone that can rebound at a high rate on both ends of the court, while being a producer in every sense of the word. This July she will continue to do her thing with her star studded group with The Factory but after that, hopefully she can carry that momentum into the high school season this Winter. Something that seems probable at this point in her process.

Gilmore is “long and athletic” and appears to stand over “the magic number” yet the real magic starts with her UPS as she goes AFTA the ball off the rim, on both ends. She also showed good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots

Jamyla Gilmore Jamyla Gilmore 6'2" | PF Bellevue East | 2025 State NE is a prospect that is going to be in the debate for one of the tallest athletes at this event and I can’t wait to see what she can put together. Gilmore comes to us out of Nebraska and she is coming off of a successful high school campaign in general. She stands right around 6’2 and she is agile in all of her movements. She gets down the floor with good speed and she makes the most of her opportunities at the rim from what I’ve seen. Another thing that she does well is that she does her work early. Meaning that she rim-runs down the floor at good speed, usually beating her opponent to their spot, on either side of the floor. If she can keep this up over the next few days, she is going to get a whole lot of buckets and stops. That’s for sure.
