Mosley is a Kirkwood CC commit and a SG with a balanced shooting stroke off of the catch. Mosley is also the type not to settle for three’s but instead, she is willing to get into the lane and mix it up physically with others as she attacks the defense. Everytime that I have had a chance to see Mosley compete, she is always reserved. She plays with good energy and positive vibes but she is just quiet and calm. She understands when she needs to turn it up in special moments but she isn’t the type to scream and lose her mind. Instead, she acts rationally and she see’s a lot of success because of that factor alone.

Mosley started off the game for Liberty and did her part of playing sound defense. Early on she fell into foul trouble and that impacted her minutes for the remainder of the contest but the moments she had when she was in were notable. From an outside perspective, Mosley is going to have her moments this Winter before taking her talent to the court with Kirkwood at the next level. She will have some really good games throughout this next six months as long as she stays locked in mentally moving forward. Something she did a great job of last night.

Liberty High School returns to a questionable situation this Winter but what won’t be questionable is the amount of skilled prospects that they will have on their Varsity Roster. This group will not only be skilled, they will be deep at most positions across the floor. Someone that could make a big impact throughout the course of the next six months for this team is SG, Janessa Mosley Janessa Mosley 5'7" | SG IC - Liberty | 2025 State IA . Following a successful AAU season with her Missouri Phaeton 17U – Iowa hub team, Mosley committed to Kirkwood to continue on her basketball journey. I love this commitment for a few reasons but mainly because Mosley is a solid prospect, who could grow into an important piece at a 4 year University on the hardwood before everything comes to an end. If she stays motivated moving forward, how she has been up until this point in her career, I’m sure her success will continue into the college levels.

Mosley is coming off of a successful season with her Missouri Phenom – Iowa hub 17U team, proving to some collegiate recruiters that she could continue to work to bring positives to the hardwood. As of most recent, Mosley committed to Kirkwood CC to continue on after this upcoming Senior season at IC – Liberty High School. The Eagles are a nationally ranked team each Winter so as long as Mosley can find her place on the squad, that trend should continue.
