With the June camp month's live period in the rear-view mirror, one would expect the previous week to be a very active one on South Carolina's recruiting trail.

Indeed, it was. Many offers were extended to some of the best and brightest in the Palmetto State even before the previous weekend when the whole of South Carolina's high school girls basketball realm made its annual trek to North Augusta's Riverview Park.

A great deal of the programs that extended offers in the direction of prospects from the Palmetto State were also on hand at South Carolina's Riverfront for the month's live event. Here is the latest from the always active recruiting trail across the Palmetto State.

The beginning of the week was very fortunate on the recruiting trail for prospects representing the defending 5A Division 2 state champions. Levey, a formidable interior presence for Berkeley secured her first offer courtesy of Spartanburg Methodist at the beginning of the week. She is a multi-sport athlete who has also played volleyball throughout her athletic career. Once June is in the books, she will resume her final travel schedule with [program_tooltip program_id='783909' first='Palmetto' last='76ers/A'ja Wilson Elite'] prior to preparing for her senior season as a Stag. Last season, Levey averaged 10 points, 5.5 rebounds and a block per contest. Levey has played at the varsity level since she was an eighth grader.

Pioneers coach Reid Walling also has been impressed with what he has seen from McCray as of late considering McCray also landed an offer from Spartanburg Methodist. Walling knows how to recruit in-state talent considering all but one from Spartanburg Methodist's 2025-26 roster hailed from the Palmetto State. McCray was one of two team co-captains last season for coach Crystal Peace's Stags and is another who has also played both basketball and volleyball throughout her athletic career. McCray competed in all 28 games last season for Berkeley while averaging nine points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. Her first season at the varsity level was as a seventh grader.

Carter's recruiting fortunes have continued to lead in one direction – up – following leading her Berkeley team to back-to-back 5A Division 2 state championships. The latest offer that Carter claimed was an in-state look from Anderson. With only a week and a few days remaining in June's camp month, it will not be long before Carter resumes her travel schedule with Palmetto 76ers/A'ja Wilson Elite. Carter has been offered by Francis Marion, Minnesota North College, Lander and now Anderson since the 2025-26 season concluded with an eye-popping 29-point performance at Colonial Life Arena to dispatch Greenville in last year's state contest. Carter will be at Nike EYBL Session 3 in Las Vegas in mid-July. She averaged 13.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.9 steals per game last season.
