The NEPSACGBA All-Star has been fundamental in Larwrence hitting full stride this season; they’re preparing for an upcoming playoff matchup and Becotte’s game has given them an advantage. She has many top tier qualities that make her a treasure of a prospect. First and foremost, Jasmine is a culture setter, an extremely distinctive trait. She also plays the game the right way, brings composure, exploits mismatches and remains incredibly efficient. She can do just about everything on the floor, including posting smaller players up as a guard/wing. Becotte is almost a lock for a double-double on any given night. The downhill craftiness, ball control, shooting propensity, sturdiness on her drives, plus countless counters are remarkable. It’s unusual to see someone with her scoring capabilities reach close to 50% from the field. Jamesine also demonstrates aggressive defensive mechanics too, which lead to well-earned turnovers. She can easily guard up to 3 positions, so she can hold her own against many. The impact on winning with all these attributes are what really separate her though.
