About Jaucelyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Passionate Student-Athlete with a high shooting accuracy. Quick release beyond the perimeter, nice float in the mid-range and finishes through contact. Great ball handling keeps the ball on a string, shifty and changes speeds well, great usages of combo dribbles. Beautiful court vision and defensive techniques, gets teammates in right spots by controlling tempo.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

"It's not the will to win that matter, it's the will to prepare to win those matters". I am a true believer the game starts far before I step on the court. I prepare, train and stick with the 4 C's which describes my mentality: Confidence, Communication, Coachable and Commitment.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a leader of my youth team at church and local Boys & Girls Club. I have received AB Honor Roll and currently taking honor classes. I am a participant in the performing arts program. Won GNWBA Queen 2017 pageant.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a multisport student athlete has led to different skill sets for me. My coaches, teammates, community leaders, and family states I demonstrate leadership, teamwork, mental toughness, work ethic, and adaptability in competitive environments. I possess these qualities on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a D1 college, but any offer extended to me would be a blessing.
