Mayes ability to knock down three pointers appears to be effortless. Beyond that, she is a quick guard that understands how to move off the ball and get into scoring position. I watched her keep her team alive in a tight game. She is an absolute difference maker.

Mayes is an athletic guard who also happens to fall into that #sizedontmatter group, and yeah, she scored off the dribble and dropped it from deep, ala “catch and shoot” but her defense “on the ball” and diving on the floor for loose balls had me smiling
