Jaylee is a big part of a resurgence at Marion, plus she is a really nice college prospect who should continue to improve over the next couple of years. Last season, she was a walking double-double who used her strength and athleticism to dominate the boards, score it consistently around the block, and defend with effort. She is probably closer to 5-10 now, and she’s starting to add a more efficient perimeter game. She has some similarities to Indiana University-Indianapolis Freshman Destini Craig. Look for Jaylee with the Bates Fundamental 17U team this Spring.

At her height, I guess you could consider Jaylee “undersized”. But she is very physical, tough-nosed, and she works hard. She is one of those inside-out type of forwards who already really produces at the high school level. She can play an “undersized” ‘4’, she rebounds the ball at a high rate, and she can score it through contact at the rim. Jaylee also has the ability to put it on the floor and attack from the mid-post or the perimeter.
