Probably has the best transition footwork that I’ve seen at KC Jamfest. Most of it was very subtle and not always an abundance of opportunities for her, but the skill is clearly there as she made same-direction hesi moves look easy with most of the work done at her feet and not above the waist, which is very hard to do unless you’ve got it like that.

Ridge View High School went 12-11 during the 2025-2026 high school season, mainly being led by their underclassman group. Someone from this group, that everyone needs to note because she will be starting once again this upcoming season and making even more waves than she did last year is Jayna Aschinger. Aschinger led the team with 14.5 PPG on 40% shooting from the field. She also grabbed 4 RPG and dished out 2.5 APG. She had most of this success coming from the SG position There were times when she would slide over to compete as her team’s PG but you could tell that she is better as a SG/CG because of her play-style off the bounce. We have seen promise up until this point in Aschinger’s career. Now it’s time to see what she can do for the next two seasons as an upperclassmen.
