Strong finisher around the basket and plays aggressively as she runs the floor. She seeks out contact and also gives contact. Madelyn doesn’t mind if the game is too physical; there will be no complaints from her, she’ll just continue to get buckets and continue to get to the FT line. She’s a combo wing that plays bigger than her size once she enters the paint and has been leading P4H Academy in scoring so far at the KC Jamfest.

Tigges will be a household name this Winter at the 1A level for Bishop Garrigan. She will have the chance to play with another impactful big and she is going to have a lot of opportunities because of that. As long as she converts, it should be a heyday, which is what I expect to happen. She is coordinated at 5’11, she likes physical play, she can produce on and off of the ball, all as she plays really well defensively near and far from the bucket. When you combined all of that together, you get someone who will usually kill the 1A level throughout their career and that’s what we are starting to see out of Tigges. This weekend Play4Him Academy will be in KC doing their thing, make sure to check out their group if you get a chance.

Whenever you see someone in this game with a mixture of size and skill at a young age, it’s something to note and that’s what we have here with Madelyn Tigges. Most might not know about Tigges just yet but she is coming off of another run with Bishop Garrigan High School the last few months. From everything I’ve seen out of her, this is someone that gets stuck under the hoop a good amount and she produces there but she also has the ability to step out and create from the outside comparatively. As she gets older, her confidence is going to grow and so will her game in general. She already has a bunch of interest from afar so now it’s only a matter of time until someone steps in to say hello from the collegiate level.
