Burford was a standout on the offensive end during both three versus three and five-on-five play. Her biggest strength appeared to be catching and shooting from the perimeter which she did well to start, however as the day went on Burford scored multiple times in the painted area as well. Her solid fundamentals/base allowed her to score efficiently and effectively without being a ball stopper. She definitely has the size, skill, and knowledge of the game to play on the next level. However, basketball may be her second-best sport as Jemiah is a very skilled and highly thought of wide receiver playing flag football. Whatever sport Burford chooses, I believe she will be a meaningful contributor in the right situation in college.

One who will become a difference maker. She’s a slasher who has deceptive speed and brings length into the fold. She’s a kid who can shoot the 3-ball but also use her dribble to create off the bounce. She’s a solid rebounder, but I love her ability to lock in and defend. Her length poses a threat, and she easily gets deflections and steals, especially when she is an on-ball defender.  Playing with more confidence and freedom, look for her to continue growing and be a nice addition to the Lady Bears program at Mt. Juliet.

Will be a solid addition to the Lady Bears program. Bringing speed and size to the party, she is going that is going to cause problems. Her attributes, such as speed and length, will cause turnovers that will lead to transition buckets. She can attack downhill, but also knock down the 3-ball at a consistent clip. She’s going to bring even more athleticism to the program. A talented kid who hasn’t peaked yet.

Athletic winger who can do a multitude of things. She can slash to the rim using her ability to create off the dribble. She can knock down the 3-pointer by bringing it up in transition or from the catch-and-shoot position. Her defense is also big-time, as she gets steals and deflections. Look for her to continue growing and to help her club out this upcoming season.

With a long wingspan, this young lady creates havoc. Athletic, plays with speed, a kid who can aggressively get to the rim, knock down 3, and exploit the mid-range. She has a nice fadaway jumper in her arsenal as well. She’s a kid who knows how to put the ball in the hole. She’s solid on defense. One that gets steals, deflections, blocks, and contributes on the boards. Playing with a lot of confidence, she’s poised to gain the attention of collegiate coaches.

This young lady got hot, and she was hard to slow down. A versatile forward who can slash to the rim or dial it up from deep. Her length poses a threat, as she is a solid defender who can force opponents to turn the ball over. Offensively, she can put it on the floor and finish and rise up in the mid-range, and knock down shots. Playing with a lot of confidence, she’s turning the corner and about to have a breakthrough that college coaches will see.
