Xue has looked good in her new threads, doing what she does best and confirming why she’s considered one of the top players in her class. Jennifer is flat-out one of the best on the catch shooters in the region. Her shot mechanics are fluid and it doesn’t matter the position she’s catching the ball in, Xue quickly makes her adjustments and fires from her shot pocket. It’s clear Jenniefer gets a ton of shots up just by her unwavering follow-through. There’s no hesitation or wasted motion up to the release plus she gets excellent rotation on the ball even with defenders in her space. The sheer threat of her catching fire from behind the 3-point line holds a ton of gravity.

Jennifer shot the ball confidently. She hit some key 3s and gave Milton a reliable source of offense with her shooting.

Jennifer is a new member of Milton Academy, who joined in March of this year. She is a confident shooter who spaces the floor and stretches defenses. She shoots it cleanly off the catch from cuts or screens and plays with great poise for her age. Her shooting brings real value to Milton’s offense and gives them another perimeter option to complement their guards.

Jennifer is an elite shooter who plays with poise and confidence. Her strength lies in catch-and-shoot situations — whether off a pass or a screen — where she displays impressive range and accuracy. While she can pull up off the dribble, she’s most effective in spot-up roles. Xue is a cogent shooter that also understands how to get her shots off, regardless of the defense. She moves well without the ball in her hands, showing at an early stage that she’s grasped how to be most effective in various sets. This is a high caliber shot maker that’s even efficient too, traits that don’t always happen to go together. She’s a player to keep an eye on in general in the class, a true ascending talent in the class.

Jennifer is an enticing guard prospect with a skillset that’s already advanced for the position. She brings a lot of intensity and brings an overwhelming potency when she’s on the floor. Xue knows how to play the game the right way. She understands the power of getting the ball out her hands, knowing she’ll get it back quickly after relocating to the open areas of the floor. Jennifer’s energy is exerted especially in transition because of how she runs the lanes fast and wide. Defenders must make a decision quick and determine when to pick her up before it’s too late. She’s such a knockdown shooter, shooting in transition can be just as effective as a layup at times. Speaking of finishing at the rim though, Xue has a lot of elusive moves that allow her to get a mix of angles off the backboard.

Just recently Xue detonated for 28 points. What was notable was how electric she was in this game. There were many times Xue let shots fly from deep range and every time she connected it injected another level of life into the team. The exhilarating play is a staple of Jennifer’s game.
